What it does

MCP server bundled into CoolUtils Mail Viewer — a 15-year-old Windows tool for opening exotic email formats. Run MailViewer.exe --mcp and Claude can converteml/.msg/.p7m/.mim/.tnef/.olk15/.vcf (+5 more) to PDF/DOCX/HTML/TXT/TIFF with full rendering, pull sender/subject/headers/attachments as JSON, and bulk-extract attachments from folders. Fully local — mail never leaves your machine. Built for DFIR, eDiscovery, paralegal, and IT-admin workflows on Outlook archives and S/MIME-signed mail.

  Hey everyone, I've wanted an easy way to control which mcp server tools are available to clients. So for example, I might want a gmail server to only expose the read tool (but not send, delete etc). I figured if I create a cli for spawning mcp servers, I could intercept the stdin, stdout, stderr etc and modify what the clients see when they are making calls to list tools, resources, and prompts.
