Counting Tap Toy
Hi HN! This is a project I made for my 3-year-old who always skips “14” when counting. In Counting Tap Toy, you can tap to count various aquatic creatures. The count is displayed and announced. My hope is that seeing and hearing the numbers will reinforce 14’s existence. I find tapping all the fish while listening to the songs and popping sound effects to be pretty relaxing too. In plain words
Counting Tap Toy is an interactive app where users tap aquatic creatures to practice counting, with numbers displayed and spoken aloud. Created to help young children learn number sequences, particularly addressing the tendency to skip 14, the app features colorful creatures, songs, and sound effects. It is designed for preschoolers learning to count but offers a relaxing tapping experience for users of any age.

All in all it's quite janky but a nice reminder of how general purpose PDF scripting can be. The linked PDF is all ASCII so you can just open it in a text editor, or have a look at…
