Crabby: a web page performance monitor using Selenium and Graphite
Crabby monitors your websites and APIs and reports metrics to a variety of storage backends (Prometheus, Datadog, Splunk, InfluxDB, etc). It gives you insight into timings like TTFB, DNS resolution, TLS negotiation, server processing, and content delivery. It also supports chromedp for automated gathering of browser metrics like page render timings. It's very easy to configure and includes a Helm chart for deployment into K8S.

A web page performance tester with support for Prometheus, InfluxDB, Graphite, and Datadog - chrissnell/crabby
crabby is a website performance tester that measures page load times and reports the measurements to a collection endpoint for processing, monitoring, and viewing. Crabby can collect and report these metrics: Crabby currently supports these metrics delivery backends. You can enable any combination of them simultaneously and Crabby will send metrics to all of them: simple uses Go's built-in net/http client to conduct HTTP requests. These requests measure server performance metrics including TLS negotiation time for HTTPS. This probe fetches the full response for a URL but will not fetch objects referenced by that page. The simple probe is appropriate for measuring app/API availability,…from github.com

SpeedVitals2023 · speedvitals.com · ▲829Hi HN, I’m Kashish, one of the co-founders of SpeedVitals, a platform for testing & monitoring website performance with a major emphasis on Core Web Vitals. Until now, our platform has only focused on Synthetic/Lab testing, such as Lighthouse tests and TTFB tests. But now, we have developed a Real-User Monitoring platform that doubles up as a Web Analytics tool. One major feature we have that most RUM tools lack is Performance Audits. Just like Lighthouse audits work on Lab test data, our audits work across all the real-user visits and gives suggestions on what task to prioritize first.…

An open source performance monitoring tool2024 · github.com · ▲135Hey HN. We’re Jay and Vadim from Highlight.io (https://highlight.io). We’re building an open source [1] monitoring platform for web applications. Today we’re excited to be sharing a performance tool we’ve been working on, which helps you inspect the latency of code execution from the client to the server. As engineers at past startups, we often had to debug slow queries, poor load times, inconsistent errors, etc... While tools like Jaegar [2] helped us inspect server-side performance, we had no way to tie user events to the traces we were inspecting. In other words, although we had…
