Croct
We just launched Croct Templates, a way to drop CMS-powered components into your app with a single command. It's like Shadcn, but for CMS, AB testing and personalization: * Built-in support for A/B testing, content editing, and dynamic logic * Works with existing projects (Next.js, React, etc.) * Supports community libraries via `npm://`, `shadcn-ui://`, etc. Example: ```bash npx croct@latest use shadcn-ui://block/pricing-page ``` Happy to answer any questions!
Croct launched on January 29, 2025 with 387 votes, #65 of 6,142 launches that month and more than 99% of that year's launches. The site was still online in September 2026, 1 year on.

Dynamic headless CMS with built-in CDP, AB testing and personalization2024 · docs.croct.com · ▲22Hey HN, I'm a developer and long-time OSS contributor. Over the years, I've implemented tons of headless CMSs to give product and marketing teams more autonomy. But there's always been a gap with CMSs when it comes to user interfaces. I kept running into the same issues: poor developer experience, bad performance, no support for dynamic content, and needing vendors for AB testing or personalization, which just gets messy and expensive. Versioning? One change and things break or need manual fixes. Accessing your own data? Good luck unless you're ready to pay extra. So, I built a content API…

Frigade2023 · frigade.com · ▲388Hey HN! Christian here, cofounder and CTO of Frigade (https://www.frigade.com). Our tool helps product and engineering teams quickly build in-app experiences like getting started checklists, product tours, account upsells, and nps surveys. Basically all the little things that can help boost your product's activation and retention rates, but that you don't really want to spend the time building from scratch. We built React UI components such as , , and and combined them with a web app that you can use to control user targeting, content management, sequencing, and more. These…

Talanoa▲340Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…

- TITetris in a PDF▲1,289
I realized that the PDF engines of modern desktop browsers (PDFium and PDF.js) support JavaScript with enough I/O primitives to make a basic game like Tetris. It was a bit tricky to find a union of features that work in both engines, but in the end it turns out that showing/hiding annotation "fields" works well to make monochrome pixels, and keyboard input can be achieved by typing in a text input box. All in all it's quite janky but a nice reminder of how general purpose PDF scripting can be. The linked PDF is all ASCII so you can just open it in a text editor, or have a look at…
