CTRL-F for YouTube Videos
This is a small project i made years ago and updated to whisper last year, i still use it from time to time and thought it might be useful to others, or just put the idea out there for someone better than me to make a better implementation!
In plain words
CTRL-F for YouTube Videos enables users to search for specific words or phrases within video transcripts using OpenAI's Whisper speech-to-text technology. The tool transcribes YouTube videos and allows searchable text lookup, making it easier to locate specific moments without watching entire videos. Intended for anyone who needs to quickly find content within long-form videos, the tool is available as an open-source project on GitHub for developers who may want to improve or adapt the implementation.
