What it does
Cycle is a time lag accumulator - a musical system that repeats the notes you play over and over until they gradually fade into silence. It's a simple but very powerful idea, allowing you easily create fascinating and often unexpected sonic textures.

Didn’t know what to expect but this is really a lot of fun. I’ve never heard harmonies like the ones I’m making with this. Couple of things that could make this app even better: 1. Octave up and down 2. Limit keys to one key or scale: major, minor, etc. Also I’d pay good money for more instrument sounds and to have 4 tracks at a time going with loop recording, etc. Didn’t know what to expect but this is really a lot of fun. I built a simple ambient sound app with no ads or subscriptions2025 · ambisounds.app · ▲314I’ve always liked having background noise while working or falling asleep, but I got frustrated that most “white noise” or ambient sound apps are either paywalled, stuffed with ads, or try to upsell subscriptions for basic features. So I made Ambi, a small iOS app with a clean interface and a set of freely available ambient sounds — rain, waves, wind, birds, that sort of thing. You can mix them, adjust volume levels, and just let it play all night or while you work. Everything works offline and there are no hidden catches. It’s something I built for myself first, but I figured others might…

An algorithmic audio landscape2024 · ambient.garden · ▲193This is an web audio experiment I've been wanting to do for a long time. Basically an ambient music composition, but all the sound elements are laid out in space, and that musical space can be explored freely. It's definitely inspired by in-world music that sometimes appears in games. I basically took that concept, keeping the music aspect, and dropping the entire "game" aspect. I also turned it into a more "traditional" non-interactive album, but since I started with code, why not program the whole thing? Had a blast making the entire album from code, the complete source for the album is…
