What it does

Backends are needlessly complicated. Darklang is a holistic programming language, editor, and infrastructure for building backends without accidental complexity.

Darklang puts everything in one box, so you can build CLIs and cloud apps with no bullshit, just code . When you make an async request, it first waits for any arguments that are async, and starts when they're done. If another function call needs to use the result, it will wait for it before starting. Since darklang values are immutable, there won't be any race conditions fromfrom darklang.com

    I created a language called AntiLang – breaking all the conventions2025 · siruscodes.github.io · ▲143

AntiLang is an interpreted programming language written in Go. The basic idea of this is to keep all the logical parts of a language same, but reverse the structure of it. The idea for this project came when I was having a long midnight conversation with my friend and thought of writing such a weird language. The initial draft was far worse than the current implementation; we thought of reversing the brackets and the language would be read from bottom to top. I'm happy that I dropped that idea Technical details: As the interpreter is written in Golang, I compiled it to WASM, and the whole…

Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…
