Daza Matrix
AI Supplement Formula Design Tool & R&D Engine
What it does
For any disease or health goal, Daza Matrix can filter for the most effective species and supplements from 2M+ species and 100k+ supplements worldwide. It builds a custom Formula Pool and generates formulas. Three Core Advantages: 1. World’s only AI Supplement Formula Design System fully based on PubMed. 2. Our CNN + NLP + DS-NLP + LLM integration solves the 3 fatal flaws of pure LLMs: hallucinations, randomness and mediocre generic outputs. 3. 1500x more efficient than standard biomedical NLP.

Hey HN! This has been my project for a few years now. I recently brought it back to life after taking a pause to focus on my studies. My goal with this project is to separate fluff from science when shopping for supplements. I am doing this in 3 steps: 1.) I index every supplement on the market (extract each ingredient, normalize by quantity) 2.) I index every research paper on supplementation (rank every claim by effect type and effect size) 3.) I link data between supplements and research papers Earlier last year, I took pause on a project because I've ran into a few issues: Legal: Shady…

Hey HN – Stefan and Elijah here from DAGWorks (http://dagworks.io/, YC W23). If you don’t remember us from our previous HN launch (https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=35056903), we’re the authors of Hamilton (https://github.com/dagworks-inc/hamilton), an open-source library for building self-documenting, modular dataflows in python that works for data, ML, LLM pipelines, & even web-workflows. We’ve been developing this UI for a while and we’re excited to say we open-sourced it! It comes out of the box with the following capabilities, and…

Hi this is a work in progress but it works to determine supplement efficacy for 500 conditions at the moment. Things you can do: - search for a condition -> find which supplements are effective -> see which studies indicate they are effective -> read individual study summaries - search for a supplement -> see effectiveness table, dosing, safety, dietary sources, mechanisms of action (+ browse all original sources) let me know what you think

We just launched our new product, which we developed ourselves out of the need to have a better abstraction layer for ChatGPT. Yes, we know; another AI content tool. As a marketing agency, we produce different types of content such as newsletters for large public companies. We found ourselves typing the same prompts over and over again, even though the structure was often very similar or identical, except for the actual content or topic. Formula8 offers us an easy way to develop parameter-based prompts for this and combine them in templates and make them smarter with helper functions, such…

I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.

Hey HN, Henry from Cactus here! We previously released Cactus Needle, a 14MB agentic LLM for tool call, device use, and structured extraction for phones, wearables, smart homes, small robots and microcontrollers. We got really great feedback here, and have now incorporated the suggestions to release Needle 2. The whole model is a single 14MB binary that runs a full session in 28MB of RAM; 45m parameters at 2bit compression. Needle hits 500 tokens/sec decode speed on a Raspberry Pi 5, sits between 400-1,500 tokens/sec on VR devices like Meta Quest 3S and Apple Vision Pro, and ranges…

Built a ~9M param LLM from scratch to understand how they actually work. Vanilla transformer, 60K synthetic conversations, ~130 lines of PyTorch. Trains in 5 min on a free Colab T4. The fish thinks the meaning of life is food. Fork it and swap the personality for your own character.

With social media and now AI, its important to keep the indie web alive. There are many people who write frequently. Blogosphere tries to highlight them by fetching the recent posts from personal blogs across many categories. There are two versions: Minimal (HN-inspired, fast, static): https://text.blogosphere.app/ Non-minimal: https://blogosphere.app/ If you don't find your blog (or your favorite ones), please add them. I will review and approve it.
