DB Migrations as Clojure data

Migrations as Clojure data. Contribute to bugsbio/lein-tern development by creating an account on GitHub.

DB Migrations as Clojure data launched on November 14, 2014 with 31 votes and more than 75% of that year's launches. The site was still online in September 2026, 11 years on.

In plain words

Tern is a Leiningen plugin that manages database migrations using Clojure data structures instead of traditional SQL files. It allows developers to define and version database schema changes as Clojure code, making migrations programmatic and easier to integrate into Clojure projects. The tool is designed for Clojure developers who want a data-driven approach to database versioning and maintenance.

Hi HN! I wrote a small program to browse folders in the terminal. The main inspiration was type-ahead search in GUI file managers. There exist several programs that are similar (see the listing in the README), but none of them do it quite the way I like, and often they have a very complex UI and a ton of features. I tried to make something that is obvious how to use and gets out of your way. (I also wanted an excuse to learn Rust.) Let me know what you think!

Recently created a minimal persistent relational database in Go. Main focus was on implementing & understanding working the of database, storage management & transaction handling. Use of B+ Tree for storage engine(support for indexing), managing a Free List (for reusing nodes), Support for transactions, Concurrent Reads. Still have many things to add & fix like query processing being one of the main & fixing some bugs Repo link - https://github.com/Sahilb315/AtomixDB Would love to hear your thoughts

Hi everyone! I'm an Italian programmer, very passionate about computer architecture. Some time ago I realized that some architectures potentially much superior to the classic VonNeumann, have been forgotten because there were no reliable technical solutions to implement them. One of these architectures particularly struck me and it is the "Dataflow architecture", in which there is no Program counter, but the instructions are executed in real contemporaneity whenever the operands are available. In trying to find a technical solution that implements this type of architecture effectively…

Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…
