Deadswitch - Dead Man's Switch

What it does

Deadswitch is a dead man’s switch designed to act as a data insurance mechanism. We enable our users to encrypt and attach data to web-based countdown timers – which, upon expiry, trigger the automatic release of that data to a predefined list of recipients.

A dead man

Deadswitch is a no-access encryption dead man's switch, designed to protect data owners by enabling the targeted exposure of public interest material. This works by automating a specific function designed to release a decryption key to a predefined mailing list, and relies entirely on customer interaction to thwart. Crucial to this operation is our guarantee that only our customers, through their own interaction, are capable of stopping this process. Those intending to investigate and expose public interest material whilst at risk of being rendered incapable. Although the general public fall into our target market, our services will most likely appeal to those with an interest in…from deadswitch.com

  Dead man's switch without reliance on your infra2024 · github.com · ▲139

I wrote this Go project to implement a dead man’s switch that didn’t rely on cron jobs, timers, databases, etc on the infra it runs on. Deadcheck integrates to PagerDuty and keeps a long running incident snoozed until expected check-in times where it’ll alert unless a check-in occurs.

https://github.com/OlexG/finclaw ^ repo if anyone wants to contribute. I realized that sometimes I'm pretty good at making random guesses about the future. (I.E, I think OpenAI will beat Anthropic in the short term, etc...) However, I'm bad at converting these guesses into actual market plays I can profit from. As such, I wanted to make a tool that connects to the right APIs and launches a swarm of agent experts to generate related plays based on your prediction. The very first super shitty V0 MPV just has Polymarket/Kalshi bets, but I will be adding a more complex…
