Delegate

I built Delegate because I was tired of babysitting AI coding agents. Cursor is fast but you're in the chair. I wanted to hand off five tasks and come back to PRs with agents already having peer reviewed each other's code. Delegate is a browser-based tool where you talk to an AI manager. It breaks down your request into tasks, assigns AI agents, manages git (worktrees, branches, merges), and notifies you when code is ready for final approval. Post-approval, code is merged in local git repo's main. It's open source (MIT), runs locally, uses Claude under the hood (BYOK). Demo video:…

What it does

Delegate is a browser-based tool to let you multi-task across many projects/tasks. You talk to an AI manager. It breaks down your request into tasks, assigns AI agents, organizes peer agent reviews, and notifies you when code is ready for final approval. Post-approval, code is merged in local git repo's main.

I kept running into a structural problem with AI coding tools. You try one agent. It makes changes. You try another. Now you're manually diffing branches and cleaning up experimental commits. The tools are powerful, but the workflow isn’t designed for comparison. So I built Parallel Code. It runs Claude Code, Codex, and Gemini CLI natively (no API wrapper, no feature abstraction), but isolates each agent in: its own terminal its own Git worktree its own feature branch The workflow becomes: Spawn N worktrees Assign one AI agent per worktree Let them implement independently Compare diffs Merge…

hi guys. been working on something i think is fundamentally missing in today's workflow with ai agents. vcs. i find myself struggling with questions that agents can't answer like "why did you do it?", "when did u delete this folder? why?", etc. or trying to /rewind (after a /compact...) or basically `bisect` to find when and why something was done by the agent in the current / previous session. just like git did for code, i think we are the same core capabilities with ai agents so... i developed an open source solution for that (currently supporting claude code) would love to…

Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…

  • Hello my name is Ben Ward for the past 3 years I have been remastering the financial game Wall Street Raider created by Michael Jenkins originally on DOS in 1986. It has been a rough journey but I finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. I just recently redid the website and thought maybe the full story of how this project came to be would interest you all. Thank you for reading.
