Deployment Tracking for Kubernetes
Coroot is an open-source observability and APM tool with AI-powered Root Cause Analysis. It combines metrics, logs, traces, continuous profiling, and SLO-based alerting with predefined dashboards and inspections. - Release 0.12.0 · coroot/coroot
Deployment Tracking for Kubernetes launched on January 17, 2023 with 5 votes, #1,950 of 3,901 launches that month and more than 50% of that year's launches. The site was still online in September 2026, 3 years on.
What it does
Coroot now automatically discovers and monitors every application rollout in your Kubernetes cluster. This feature allows you to stay informed about any changes in your infrastructure. Coroot uses metrics gathered by kube-state-metrics to detect that an application (Kubernetes Deployment) has been updated. Using Kubernetes metadata to detect rollouts has two main advantages. Firstly, this is the most up-to-date information about the state of applications. Secondly, this approach eliminates the need to integrate Coroot with CI/CD tools. Upon identifying a new rollout, Coroot immediately starts monitoring its status. The possible states of a rollout are as follows: A rollout is considered…from github.com

Coroot – eBPF-based, open source observability with actionable insights2025 · github.com · ▲162A common open source approach to observability will begin with databases and visualizations for telemetry - Grafana, Prometheus, Jaeger. But observability doesn’t begin and end here: these tools require configuration, dashboard customization, and may not actually pinpoint the data you need to mitigate system risks. Coroot was designed to solve the problem of manual, time-consuming observability analysis: it handles the full observability journey — from collecting telemetry to turning it into actionable insights. We also strongly believe that simple observability should be an innovation…

Coroot – AI powered Root Cause Analysis using eBPF-based telemetry2025 · coroot.ai · ▲8Hey HN, We launched Coroot a while ago as an open source observability tool that collects complete telemetry using eBPF. Today we are adding a major new capability: Coroot enterprise now includes AI-powered Root Cause Analysis. When an incident happens (like an SLO violation), Coroot: - Automatically kicks off an RCA - Summarizes what went wrong in plain English - Suggests immediate fixes - Shows the full investigation using metrics, logs, traces, and profiles With most tools, the quality of root cause analysis depends on how well the system is instrumented. Coroot takes a different…
Coroot: Simplified Observability for Modern Environments2024 · coroot.com · ▲11I'm Peter Zaitsev, co-founder at Coroot. I come from the database world where observability, or monitoring, was crucial for keeping databases running smoothly. But as technology evolves, so do the challenges we face. Today, many applications are built using microservices architecture, making it harder to pinpoint issues. Developers now have more ownership over the entire environment, but they lack the expertise to navigate intricate infrastructure details. And with the complexity of modern observability systems, crucial components often go unmonitored, leaving blind spots. That's where…

This works suprisingly well. Just give it instructions like "make it winter" or "remove the cars" and the photo is altered. Here are some examples of transformations it can make: Golden gate bridge: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/brycedrennan/imaginAIry/ma... I integrated this new InstructPix2Pix model into imaginAIry (python library) so it's easy to use for python developers.

The project is called QueryStorm. It uses Roslyn to offer C# (and VB.NET) support in Excel, as an alternative to VBA. I've posted about it before, but a lot has changed since then so figured I'd share an update. The current version includes a host of new features, namely a C# debugger, support for NuGet packages, and the ability to publish Excel extensions to an "AppStore" (which is essentially a NuGet repository). The AppStore can be used by anyone with the (free) runtime component. Another great addition is the community license, which is a free license for individuals and small companies…

Hey HN! Some more info: I’m an NHS doctor and the founder of Pi-A (https://www.pi-a.io) which developed Lungy (https://www.lungy.app). Lungy is an app (iOS only for now) that responds to breathing in real-time and was designed to make breathing exercises more engaging and beneficial to do. It hopefully has many aspects of interest to the HN community – real-time fluid, cloth and soft body sims running on the phone’s GPU. My background is as a junior surgical trainee and I started building Lungy in 2020 during the first COVID lockdown in London. During COVID, there were…
