devnexus – persistent context across repos, sessions, and engineers

devnexus is an open-source cli that gives agents persistent shared memory across repos, sessions, and engineers. It maps out dependencies and relations at the function level, builds a code graph, and writes it into a shared Obsidian vault that every agent reads before writing code. Past decisions are also linked directly to the code they touched, so no one goes down the same dead end twice. Still building it out but I would love to hear any thoughts/feedback

What it does

Shared brain for AI agents. Context that survives across repos, sessions, and engineers. - JoshBong/devnexus

Your agents start every session with amnesia. devnexus fixes that. One command. Shared brain across repos, sessions, and engineers. Decisions survive, context compounds, no one re-discovers dead ends. When one engineer's agent discovers that approach X doesn't work, that knowledge dies when the session ends. The next engineer — or the same engineer tomorrow — re-discovers the same dead end. devnexus gives every agent a vault they read before writing any code. Decisions, architecture, and API contracts persist across sessions and engineers. Context compounds instead of resetting. As of v3 , the vault is also an MCP server — agents read and write it live as they work, and you read the same…from github.com

Hi HN, we’re Nick and Drew, and we’re building boxes.dev – the first cloud-only agentic dev environment (ADE) that gives every Codex and Claude Code agent its own cloud computer. We’re two engineers who previously built Gem (co-founder/CTO and first hire), and we spent the last year coding almost exclusively using Codex and Claude Code. It’s been a huge change to how we code, and it’s been exhilarating seeing the models keep getting better – but we eventually realized that developing on localhost was holding us back: - Git worktrees are clunky to set up and use for parallelizing work -…

    Recall: Give Claude memory with Redis-backed persistent context2025 · npmjs.com · ▲171

Hey HN! I'm José, and I built Recall to solve a problem that was driving me crazy. The Problem: I use Claude for coding daily, but every conversation starts from scratch. I'd explain my architecture, coding standards, past decisions... then hit the context limit and lose everything. Next session? Start over. The Solution: Recall is an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that gives Claude persistent memory using Redis + semantic search. Think of it as long-term memory that survives context limits and session restarts. How it works: - Claude stores important context as "memories" during…

  • With social media and now AI, its important to keep the indie web alive. There are many people who write frequently. Blogosphere tries to highlight them by fetching the recent posts from personal blogs across many categories. There are two versions: Minimal (HN-inspired, fast, static): https://text.blogosphere.app/ Non-minimal: https://blogosphere.app/ If you don't find your blog (or your favorite ones), please add them. I will review and approve it.
