What it does
DevSplit uses AI-powered Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) to help your website get found on AI search engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini. We make your content AI-readable so your business is recommended, clicked, and discovered faster.
At DevSplit, we specialize in delivering innovative and reliable IT solutions tailored to meet your unique business needs. DevSplit integrates everything — CRM, automation, segmentation, and code — into a seamless modern engine.
From SaaS MVPs to complex platforms — delivered in days, not months. Senior engineers + AI tooling = your unfair competitive advantage. Before founding DevSplit, I spent nearly 14 years as a key member of the development team behind Newswire.com; helping build, evolve, and scale the platform through years of growth. Alongside a talented team, my engineering contributions helped support the technology and product behind the business as it grew; a journey that ultimately culminated in Newswire.com's $44 million acquisition. That experience shaped how we build at DevSplit today: move fast, solve the right problems, and never sacrifice sound engineering for speed. We compress 3-month timelines…from devsplit.com

I made a better Perplexity for developers2024 · devv.ai · ▲185Hi HN, I am Jiayuan, and I'm here to introduce a tool we've been building over the past few months: Devv (https://devv.ai). In simple terms, it is an AI-powered search engine specifically designed for developers. Now, you might ask, with so many AI search engines already available—Perplexity, You.com, Phind, and several open-source projects—why do we need another one? We all know that Generative Search Engines are built on RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)[1] combined with Large Language Models (LLMs). Most of the products mentioned above use indexes from general search engines…

I built the world's most impractical 1000-pixel display and anyone in the world can draw on it. It draws a single pixel at a time and takes 30-60 minutes to complete a single image. Anyone can participate in the project by voting for the next image to be drawn, and submitting images. https://kilopx.com/

Kitten TTS is an open-source series of tiny and expressive text-to-speech models for on-device applications. We are excited to launch a preview of our smallest model, which is less than 25 MB. This model has 15M parameters. This release supports English text-to-speech applications in eight voices: four male and four female. The model is quantized to int8 + fp16, and it uses onnx for runtime. The model is designed to run literally anywhere eg. raspberry pi, low-end smartphones, wearables, browsers etc. No GPU required! We're releasing this to give early users a sense of the latency and voices…

I was wondering how I can arrange objects along a spherical helix path, and read some articles on it. I ended up learning about parametric equations again, and make this visualization to document what I learned: https://visualrambling.space/moving-objects-in-3d/ feel free to visit and let me know what you think!

For HTML Day 2025 [1], I made a web service that displays the current sky at your approximate location as a CSS gradient. Colours are simulated on-demand using atmospheric absorption and scattering coefficients. Updates every minute, without the use of client-side JavaScript.
