What it does
DMOnly locks distracting apps by default. When you really need them, open a 15-minute window — apps auto-lock when time's up. 2 free or 10 Pro windows/day. No extensions, no override. The blocker for people who've gamed every other blocker.

DMOnly locks Instagram, TikTok, and the apps that hijack your day. Open a 15-minute window when you really need them. They auto-lock when time's up. Your social apps stay locked until you actively choose to use them. No more reflexive tapping the Instagram icon. Each session is exactly 15 minutes. The apps auto-lock when time's up — no willpower required. All data stays on your device. No accounts. No servers. No analytics. We can't see your apps or your usage. Choose the apps you want to manage. Instagram, TikTok, X, Snapchat, WhatsApp, YouTube, Reddit — anything. When you need to check something, tap "Open Window" in DMOnly. Your apps unlock for 15 minutes. Window expires, apps lock…from dmonly.app

Homebrew 6.0.0▲1,481Today, I’m proud to announce Homebrew 6.0.0. The most significant changes since 5.1.0 are a new tap trust security mechanism, the new faster, smaller, default internal Homebrew JSON API, sandboxing on Linux, better defaults informed by our user survey, many brew bundle improvements, improved performance and initial support for macOS 27 (Golden Gate). Happy to discuss any questions here!

Hi HN! I was super frustrated at apps like tiktok and wechat preventing me from saving or downloading the animated gifs, so I made a little tool to turn a screen recording into a slack-sized emoji. Hope you get some value from this!
