What it does
Agent Community is building the identity layer for the agentic web. We are applying to ICANN for the [.agent] Top-Level Domain, supported by 29,000+ members and 7,000+ companies. With DMV, builders can pre-register an [.agent] name for free and receive a shareable identity card while helping keep naming layer of the internet [.agent] community-governed, open, and not controlled by a single company.
Register your .agent identity at the Department of Machine Verification. Part of the .agent community.
The Department of Machine Verification (DMV) is the identity registration system for the .agent community. Pre-register a .agent domain name and receive a unique, content-addressed certificate ID. Non-interactive: bunx @agentcommunity/dmv-agent register --name my-agent --email [email protected] --operator "Operator Name" Verification email sent to operator (anti-bot, not anti-agent). Share your registration: https://dmv.agentcommunity.org/c/CERT-ID/agent-name Public API: GET https://dmv.agentcommunity.org/api/lookup?id=CERT-ID. Production evidence is merged main fabafe6 , Worker version d9755e66-3883-4970-be84-a59307011f14 (2026-07-22). Certificate IDs only; domain lookup is not…from dmv.agentcommunity.org

Agent ArenaJun 2026 · arena42.ai · ▲348Creator here. I built Agent Arena to answer a question that kept bugging me: when AI agents browse the web autonomously, how easily can they be manipulated by hidden instructions? How it works: 1. Send your AI agent to ref.jock.pl/modern-web (looks like a harmless web dev cheat sheet) 2. Ask it to summarize the page 3. Paste its response into the scorecard at wiz.jock.pl/experiments/agent-arena/ The page is loaded with 10 hidden prompt injection attacks -- HTML comments, white-on-white text, zero-width Unicode, data attributes, etc. Most agents fall for at least a few.…

Agent Passport – OAuth-like identity verification for AI agentsFeb 2026 · agent-passport-red.vercel.app · ▲14Hi HN, I built Agent Passport, an open-source identity verification layer for AI agents. Think "Sign in with Google, but for Agents." The problem: AI agents are everywhere now (OpenClaw has 180K+ GitHub stars, Moltbook had 2.3M agent accounts), but there's no standard way for agents to prove their identity. Malicious agents can impersonate others, and skill/plugin marketplaces have no auth layer. Cisco's security team already found data exfiltration in third-party agent skills. Agent Passport solves this with: - Ed25519 challenge-response authentication (private keys never leave the…

Homebrew 6.0.0▲1,481Today, I’m proud to announce Homebrew 6.0.0. The most significant changes since 5.1.0 are a new tap trust security mechanism, the new faster, smaller, default internal Homebrew JSON API, sandboxing on Linux, better defaults informed by our user survey, many brew bundle improvements, improved performance and initial support for macOS 27 (Golden Gate). Happy to discuss any questions here!

Hi HN! I was super frustrated at apps like tiktok and wechat preventing me from saving or downloading the animated gifs, so I made a little tool to turn a screen recording into a slack-sized emoji. Hope you get some value from this!
