Double Click Test

A specialized utility for diagnosing mouse hardware faults

Double Click Test launched on February 11, 2026.

What it does

A specialized utility for diagnosing mouse hardware faults. Provides real-time event logging to detect accidental double-clicks (switch bounce) and measures accurate polling rates. Useful for troubleshooting drag-and-drop issues or verifying gaming mouse performance.

Run a free 25-press mouse test and review browser-observed repeat intervals. Test left, right or middle buttons with no download.

Press the same mouse button 25 times. We flag unusually short repeat signals so you can decide whether to retest or troubleshoot. The first press locks the button and threshold for a comparable round. A focused browser test that separates observed timing from the troubleshooting decision. Millisecond gap tracking with an adjustable threshold (20–200 ms). Test left, right, wheel, back, and forward without installing anything. See every click, every gap, and every flag. Export your results to CSV. Finish a consistent round, then retest or troubleshoot if short repeat signals appear. A quick 30-second workflow. Click, review the gaps, and decide what to do next. Choose one mouse button, set…from doubleclicktest.xyz

Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…

  • Hello my name is Ben Ward for the past 3 years I have been remastering the financial game Wall Street Raider created by Michael Jenkins originally on DOS in 1986. It has been a rough journey but I finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. I just recently redid the website and thought maybe the full story of how this project came to be would interest you all. Thank you for reading.
