What it does
EduTube is a platform to explore a carefully chosen collection of high-quality educational YouTube videos. I started this project because my food always got cold while searching for a good YouTube video to watch while eating.

Hey HN community, excited to share a project that I've worked on. On EduTube you can discover 1000+ hand-selected educational YouTube videos. YouTube has a lot of really great educational content but it's hard to find the really good ones. Personally, I find that the recommendations page often falls short, and I've lost count of how many times I've struggled to select a video to watch while eating, only to end up with cold food. Hi HN, I watch A LOT of educational YouTube videos but wasn't forgetting a good chunk of the details because I was only really passively watching. So I made a tool that generates quiz questions/flashcards from YouTube videos, and uses spaced repetition like Anki or Duolingo to keep it in memory.
