Free invoicing and real double-entry books for freelancers

What it does

Free invoicing, quotes, expenses, time tracking and a full double-entry ledger — permanently, with no trial timer and no card required. The paid plan covers only what carries a real per-user cost: bank feeds, AI receipt scanning, automation. Two things that are structural, not promises: card payments settle into your own Stripe account, and bank connections are read-only. Built for the US and Canada — 1099-NEC tracking, sales tax, a US chart of accounts.

Free invoicing, real double-entry accounting and automatic bank feeds for US & Canada freelancers — your money never touches our hands.

Invoicing, real double-entry accounting and automatic bank feeds for freelancers in the US & Canada — while your money settles to your own Stripe, never ours. Cash, income, expenses and every recent movement — live, and every number clickable down to the receipt behind it. Link your bank through Plaid and connect your own Stripe. Two minutes, and money in and money out both flow in by themselves. Your customer pays by card or ACH on a page with your logo, and the money settles in your Stripe account, never ours. Every payment posts its own double-entry records. Open Reports any day and your P&L is already right. A full set of books — not a toy invoicer. Built for the way freelancers…from eliteappai.com

  • I made OwnTime to balance between competing priorities in my life. The idea is based on two main influences: the concept of "roles" from "The 5 Choices" (2015), and my repeated failure to effectively implement time blocking due to the necessary flexibility in my role. The app allows you to define time budgets, which are not much more than a few mutually exclusive countdown timers. The UX is essentially that of a chess clock for an arbitrary number of players with configurable time. The whole point of the app is to kick you out of the running role/priority when its time is up.
