FabLog

Track the real cost and profit of 3D prints and laser cuts

What it does

FabLog is the first iOS app built specifically for makers who 3D print and laser cut. It tracks every session, material usage, electricity costs, taxes, time and more, so you know exactly what each project costs to produce and track your earnings. Born from a personal need: I'm a maker who got tired of guessing how much each print was actually costing me. No analytics, no tracking, no data collected. Just a simple, private tool built by a maker, for makers. Available in English and Italian.

    I made a super simple iOS app to track expenses2023 · apps.apple.com · ▲55

My Expenses is a very simple app to track expenses for one-time budgets. Let's say you're going on vacations in Italy and you want to allocate $1.500 to this trip. You create a budget "Italy" in 30 seconds and you're ready to go. Each time you make an expense in Italy, you add it to the app in a few seconds and you instantly know you're remaining budget. I'm bored of super complex apps. Yes, they do a lot of things, but it often takes a while to get used to the app and understand all its features. That's why I created this app. I want people to be able to track their expenses in seconds, as…

Care to share a screenshot and the 'killer feature' of any of your personal, self-built productivity tools? eg. I made my own calendar and money-tracker last year - there are no other users, it makes no money, I have no plans to make it public, but it holds my life together :) http://i.imgur.com/h2keJDg.png GREAT BECAUSE... it tells me how much I'm going to get paid this month. Absolutely no ulterior motive here (ie. I'm not canvassing opinions for a productivity app startup or anything), just interested.

Hey HN, Henry here from Cactus. We open-sourced Needle, a 26M parameter function-calling (tool use) model. It runs at 6000 tok/s prefill and 1200 tok/s decode on consumer devices. We were always frustrated by the little effort made towards building agentic models that run on budget phones, so we conducted investigations that led to an observation: agentic experiences are built upon tool calling, and massive models are overkill for it. Tool calling is fundamentally retrieval-and-assembly (match query to tool name, extract argument values, emit JSON), not reasoning. Cross-attention…
