Featuretracker.com – A simple way to track features
Hey, HN! Cody and Jake here, the founders of FeatureTracker (https://www.featuretracker.com). We have one simple goal, to allow creators to make data-backed decisions when building interfaces. Maybe you have a really fancy date picker and are looking for ways to scale it back. With FeatureTracker you can track the granular usage of each component of that date picker, then decide what to keep and what to cut based on actual numbers. What it does
In the maker’s words, at launch
We track specific clicks and provide a few simple data points to make you feel a little more comfortable making decisions and less like you’re driving into the dense fog that can be product development. We built this to help us answer questions and hope it can help a few others too. We're aiming to keep things simple as possible. We'd love to hear from you, so let us know if you have any questions or have feedback. Thanks, Cody and Jake

I build a lot of products in the past, all of them failed. I realised that we didn't listen to our users enough, Maybe not at all. Then thought why not something like HN, where people can post their feature requests and upvote. Did a bit of research and found a couple of product in the market. But all were ridiculously expensive for a feature tracker. I didn't want to take a loan to use a feature tracker Then last year I build a product using no code to track the feedback of customers and it helped a lot. (It won Product Hunt makers festival tools for teams). Later talking to other founders…

Hi HN, I built Eigendrum, a web tool that solves the 2D wave equation for arbitrary shapes so you can hear what they sound like as drums. How it works: * Solves -∇²u = λu using finite element analysis (Kφ = λMφ) on a triangle mesh. * Validated to <0.1% error against closed-form solutions for circles (Bessel zeros) and rectangles. * Sound model factors in strike location, Rayleigh damping, and mallet width. * Includes Kac drums I & II to demonstrate identical sound spectra from different geometries. * No frameworks, build steps, or dependencies. Repo and tests:…
