Study with LaTeX and Markdown

Flashtex - Flashcards launched on February 16, 2021 with 3 votes. The site was still online in September 2026, 5 years on.

What it does

Hi! With Flashtex you can easily create flashcards with LaTeX, Markdown, or by hand using an Apple Pencil. • Leitner study system (Spaced Repetition) • iCloud sync • Import + export • Add images to your answers • Group your cards for your lectures

Create flashcards with formatted notes, equations, sketches, and images. Study a deck with configurable Study Modes.

Write equations with LaTeX, format notes with Markdown, and draw with Apple Pencil. Review your cards with spaced repetition. Use LaTeX, Markdown, Apple Pencil, and images for notation, notes, or sketches. Adjust study options when you need to. Choose due or new cards, or filter by tag, flag, or search. Group cards into decks and folders, then find the deck you want to study. Newer and more difficult cards appear more often. Familiar cards appear less often. Cards stay on the device and can sync through your iCloud. No Flashtex account is needed. Add handwritten input to a card when a sketch fits thefrom flashtex.app

You could even ask Claude or Chatgpt to research on a topic and do the same without having the need to make notes. Then you review them with the FSRS spaced repetition algorithm. Built it solo over the last 2 weeks. Stack used: Next.js, Drizzle + Neon, ts-fsrs for scheduling It's a paid product - no card…
