FocusFlow - Find Focus. Feel Flow.

A minimal focus timer for Windows with a floating overlay

What it does

Built this for myself because every focus timer I tried was either too bloated or too basic. FocusFlow stays out of your way - start a session, it disappears from your taskbar and becomes a small floating circle above all your windows. Drag it anywhere. Click to return. Right-click to pause. Also has session tracking, goals, a GitHub-style activity heatmap, idle detection, and a dashboard. But honestly the floating overlay is the thing. Free. No account. Windows 10/11

A focus timer for Windows that gets out of your way. Start a session, minimize to a floating overlay, and just work. Track your time. Hit your goals. When you start a session and minimize, FocusFlow disappears from your taskbar and becomes a small floating circle that lives above whatever you're working on. No clutter. No alt-tabbing to check the clock. Just a subtle, beautiful reminder that you're in focus mode. Click it to return. Right-click to pause or end. Drag it to any corner of any monitor. FocusFlow remembers where you left it. FocusFlow is completely free . If it helps you get more done, pay what you want — or nothing at all. Either way, enjoy. Got an idea? Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…

  • Hello my name is Ben Ward for the past 3 years I have been remastering the financial game Wall Street Raider created by Michael Jenkins originally on DOS in 1986. It has been a rough journey but I finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. I just recently redid the website and thought maybe the full story of how this project came to be would interest you all. Thank you for reading.
