What it does

Forgotify is a music discovery tool that surfaces Spotify tracks barely anyone has heard — songs you may be the first person to ever play. Originally launched 2014 by Lane Jordan, J Hausmann, and Nate Gagnon; rebuilt 2026. No sign-in needed — start rescuing forgotten tracks in your browser.

Rescue the tracks Spotify forgot — songs you may be the first person to ever hear . No account needed: previews play right here, full tracks open in your Spotify. In-browser full playback is an invite-only beta. Everything else works without signing in. No CLIENT_ID configured. Open config.js and add your Spotify Developer App credentials. See SETUP.md . A surprising number of Spotify's catalog has never been played to completion. Forgotify finds those tracks and gives them a second life. We built a new discovery engine from scratch, using popularity scores, community listen data, and curatedfrom forgotify.com
