Frisay

php, ecommerce

What it does

Built with PHP 7.4+, Smarty templating, PDO/MySQL and Bootstrap. It has a browser-based install wizard, a REST API (v1), a module system, and multi-currency support (USD/EUR/gold via cron). Turkish localization is built in but the core is usable for any store. Repo: https://github.com/bera65/frisay | Demo: https://fyazilim.com/fshop/ Would love feedback from the PHP community — especially on the module architecture.

    YourNextStore – an open-source Shopify with Stripe as the back end2024 · github.com · ▲285

We’re building Your Next Store, a modern, ultra-fast, open-source commerce in Next.js with Stripe as the backend - no DB required. Selling online is often more complex than it needs to be. Setting up a storefront with great performance can feel daunting and time-consuming. There are many plugins, libraries, etc - the choice can be overwhelming. Plus, in e-commerce, the backend and frontend are often written in different languages (e.g., PHP, Python, or Ruby for the backend). This increases the complexity and makes code management more challenging, especially for teams. After working in…

    Daffodil – Open-Source Ecommerce Framework to connect to any platformSep 2025 · github.com · ▲66

Hello everyone! I’ve been building an Open Source Ecommerce framework for Angular called Daffodil. I think Daffodil is really cool because it allows you to connect to any arbitrary ecommerce platform. I’ve been hacking away at it slowly (for 7 years now) as I’ve had time and it's finally feeling “ready”. I would love feedback from anyone who’s spent any time in ecommerce (especially as a frontend developer). For those who are not javascript ecosystem devs, here’s a demo of the concept: https://demo.daff.io/ For those who are familiar with Angular, you can just run the…

Today, I’m proud to announce Homebrew 6.0.0. The most significant changes since 5.1.0 are a new tap trust security mechanism, the new faster, smaller, default internal Homebrew JSON API, sandboxing on Linux, better defaults informed by our user survey, many brew bundle improvements, improved performance and initial support for macOS 27 (Golden Gate). Happy to discuss any questions here!
