What it does

Been building a little app over the past few months and finally got it to a point where I'm happy with it 🙂 It's called FuelTrack — it shows you the cheapest petrol and diesel stations near you in real time, pulling prices directly from Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury's, Morrisons and more. UK drivers overpay by an average of £120 a year just by filling up at the wrong place. This finds you the cheapest one nearby in seconds. There's a free 7-day trial if anyone wants to check it out.

  I built this using the official UK government forecourt fuel price feed. The map aggregates the latest petrol and diesel prices by county, with filters for fuel type and metric. Clicking a county shows the cheapest forecourt, average price, spread, and station count. The feed covers roughly 8,000 UK forecourts and refreshes every 30 minutes. Retailers publish the prices, so there can still be gaps in the data/stations but it's getting better over time.
