Generate personal icebreakers for Twitter and LinkedIn
After facing the challenge of skimming profiles to come up with introduction messages/icebreakers, I decided to build https://www.helloperson.xyz. It does two jobs based on a social media profile link: 1. It generates a meaningful icebreaker that I can directly use in my DMs to connect with that person. 2. It generates a profile summary for that profile based on their recent activity and their biography. It is available for free to use at https://www.helloperson.xyz and supports Twitter and LinkedIn profile links.
Generate personal icebreakers for Twitter and LinkedIn launched on November 5, 2023 with 5 votes, #1,744 of 4,332 launches that month and more than 50% of that year's launches. The site was still online in September 2026, 2 years on.
