What it does
Download GIPHY Capture. The GIF Maker by Giphy, Inc. on the App Store. See screenshots, ratings and reviews, user tips, and more apps like GIPHY Capture.
Finally, a gif screen grabber that does exactly what I need it to do without having to go through the lengths of signing up for a service or having to open a browser and go get my gif. A few suggestions: would be great if this app had a Key Command to activate capture. Or if it had an option to run as a regular Dock app vs a Menu bar app. I do like the ability to see recent gifs, but would like them to show up after relaunching. I would be ok if the apps saved to a folder on my machine as long as the app asked where on first launch. Also agree it would be nice to have a FPS control feature. Or perhaps there was a slider for longer vids with lower FPS or vice versa. Obviously, full control…from apps.apple.com
