What it does

Griductive is a daily deductive logic puzzle where you classify suspects and innocents using nothing but reasoning — no guessing, no luck. Every day brings a fresh puzzle across multiple grid sizes (3×3, 4×4, 5×5), with carefully crafted clues that reward pure deductive thinking. ✦ Fresh puzzle every day ✦ Multiple grid sizes for different difficulty levels ✦ Streaks, stats & leaderboards ✦ No download — plays instantly in browser ✦ Completely free to play

Play Griductive, a daily grid-deduction puzzle. Read the clues, mark each suspect criminal or innocent by pure logic, and unlock a new statement with every correct call.

Everyone on the grid is secretly a criminal or an innocent, and exactly one line-up fits every statement on the board. You work out which, one provable verdict at a time. What separates Griductive from most deduction games is the thing it refuses to let you do: you cannot guess. Not because guessing is discouraged — because the board will not accept a verdict you have not earned. Sweep, don’t stare. New solvers pick an interesting-looking person and try to reason them out; that person is usually not the one the clues have already decided. Every grid always has at least one verdict sitting there fully forced, so the opening question is never “who is guilty” — it’s “who has the board already…from knotwise.games

Hey HN, About twenty years ago, while I was in college, I first stumbled upon James Propp's Self-Referential Aptitude Test [1] and absolutely loved it. Ever since then, I've had this idea of turning that concept into a daily game, and I've finally built it: https://www.logiquiz.com/ The game interface checks each question against the answers you've given, so it doesn't spoil anything by giving away the answers. There are five different tests each day, from very easy to very hard. I'd love to hear what you think! [1]: https://faculty.uml.edu/jpropp/srat-Q.txt
