Full Story Hi guys, I've had my head down for the past 12 months working on building an AIO website plugin. We just passed our 1st Birthday yesterday, we're a profitable business with 2 full-time engineers and growing. So my name's Nathan, I'm 23 years old and grew up in London. After a legal dispute that brought my previous startup to an end, I noticed that when I was shutting down the site that I had 8 marketing plugins, which seemed pretty excessive. I also was spending about $2k/month on widgets (Intercom, UseProof, OptKit, AutopilotHQ, Reviews.io, LessChurn, ViralLoops and HelloBar) That's when I had my lightbulb moment; who really wants to learn to use 8 different plugins? pay for 8 subscriptions? manage each account? install 8 scripts? On top of that, I'm an ex-employee of Hotjar, and I'd heard David (co-founder) mention how he came up with the idea, Hotjar was essentially 6-tools he had been using that he brought into one platform and offered to users at a fraction of the cost. He was now the proud founder of a SaaS turning over $10m in ARR. So following this approach, Notifia was born. A collection of the most effective marketing widgets and plugins I had come across. I'm also a fan of AARRR Framework followed by many Growth Hackers; where as a traditional marketer is just focusing on acquisition. A Growth Hacker builds out strategies and optimisations to boost Acquisition, Activation, Revenue, Retention and Referrals which in turn leads to Growth.
