H1NTED LLC

Personalise behaviour and communication for robots and AI

What it does

What makes H1NTED different is that it personalises robot behaviour before communication starts. It creates behavioural context from permitted visual signals, such as appearance and accessories, without processing biometric data. This context is then translated into behavioural instructions. The result is a behavioural personalisation layer that can generate 100+ behavioural contexts, covering areas such as communication style, wording, boundaries and other interaction preferences.

H1NTED personalises AI and robot interactions using real-time behavioural signals before communication begins.

We go beyond what to say. We let them know who they’re talking to by putting you at the centre of any communication. Privacy-minded by design. We go beyond what to say. We let them know who they’re talking to by putting you at the centre of any communication. Privacy-minded by design. We help to deliver better first impressions by understanding users before speaking a single word, with permission-based processing. We help brands to train employees to recognise visual signals and respond in a highly personalised and targeted way and stay one step ahead. We help to reduces the adaptation burden on vulnerable residents by giving robots consistent behavioural prompts tailored to each person.…from h1nted.com

    Muscle-Mem, a behavior cache for AI agents2025 · github.com · ▲226

Hi HN! Erik here from Pig.dev, and today I'd like to share a new project we've just open sourced: Muscle Mem is an SDK that records your agent's tool-calling patterns as it solves tasks, and will deterministically replay those learned trajectories whenever the task is encountered again, falling back to agent mode if edge cases are detected. Like a JIT compiler, for behaviors. At Pig, we built computer-use agents for automating legacy Windows applications (healthcare, lending, manufacturing, etc). A recurring theme we ran into was that businesses already had RPA (pure-software scripts), and…

  • I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.

  • Hey HN, Henry from Cactus here! We previously released Cactus Needle, a 14MB agentic LLM for tool call, device use, and structured extraction for phones, wearables, smart homes, small robots and microcontrollers. We got really great feedback here, and have now incorporated the suggestions to release Needle 2. The whole model is a single 14MB binary that runs a full session in 28MB of RAM; 45m parameters at 2bit compression. Needle hits 500 tokens/sec decode speed on a Raspberry Pi 5, sits between 400-1,500 tokens/sec on VR devices like Meta Quest 3S and Apple Vision Pro, and ranges…

  • I made OwnTime to balance between competing priorities in my life. The idea is based on two main influences: the concept of "roles" from "The 5 Choices" (2015), and my repeated failure to effectively implement time blocking due to the necessary flexibility in my role. The app allows you to define time budgets, which are not much more than a few mutually exclusive countdown timers. The UX is essentially that of a chess clock for an arbitrary number of players with configurable time. The whole point of the app is to kick you out of the running role/priority when its time is up. One…
