What it does

Halves is a shared task app where the Home Screen widget IS the experience. Add a task, assign it to your person, and check it off from the widget — without ever opening the app. Built for couples, roommates, and anyone sharing life with one other person. Amber for you, olive for them. Real-time sync. End-to-end encrypted. Interactive widgets (small/medium/large), couple streaks, nudges, activity log, NLP quick-add, Siri shortcuts, dark mode, and solo mode. Free. No account required.

Halves is the shared to-do list for two. Add tasks by typing or voice, break big jobs into subtasks, use live widgets, attach encrypted photos, and stay in sync.

We built Halves because we kept losing track of who was doing what at home. Now both sides stay current — tasks, lists, reminders, and widgets in one shared place. Free on iPhone. For partners, roommates, families, and anyone sharing the load. Type or speak naturally. Halves turns rough input into editable tasks, lists, due dates, and assignments. Set each task to Me, Partner, or Both so ownership stays obvious across the app, widgets, and watch. Home Screen widgets, reminders, stale task surfacing, and quick reactions help the work continue without a long app session.
