Hash Viewer

Easily share math and markdown for free without ads/tracking

Hash Viewer launched on February 22, 2021 with 4 votes. The site was still online in September 2026, 5 years on.

What it does

You can use this to store entire documents in URLs. It is similar to Hashify but has a simpler presentation, uses LZ-based compression via lz-string, and supports LaTeX math input via MathJaX. It is hosted on GitHub Pages and uses marked for markdown.

Hash Viewer lets you display and share Markdown, HTML, and rendered math (TeX) without any server side-components. It works by storing page content in the URL.
