Heart Rate Streaming for Apps launched on January 26, 2023 with 144 votes, #266 of 3,901 launches that month and more than 90% of that year's launches. The site was still online in September 2026, 3 years on.
What it does
Connect and stream real-time data from wearables, such as heart rate. Install the module and immediately connect to all the wearables through ANT+, BLE, or WebSockets. Become wearable agnostic, streaming from Apple, WHOOP, Garmin, Oura and more
Terra streams user wearable data in real time through websockets. Connect apps to BLE, ANT+, Apple Watch, WearOS and 500+ devices with a single API.

Open WearablesApr 2026 · openwearables.io · ▲631Hi, I'm Bart, one of the maintainers of Open Wearables. For the past few months we've been building an open-source, self-hosted backend that normalises health and fitness data from multiple wearable providers (Garmin, Whoop, Apple Health, Samsung Health and others) into a single AI-ready REST API - and thought it was worth sharing here too :) We built this out of our own experience doing custom wearable integrations for clients, and from working with paid SaaS solutions that often lack the flexibility to customise data pipelines or debug what's actually happening under the hood.…

Talanoa▲340Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…

This works suprisingly well. Just give it instructions like "make it winter" or "remove the cars" and the photo is altered. Here are some examples of transformations it can make: Golden gate bridge: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/brycedrennan/imaginAIry/ma... Girl with a pearl earring: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/brycedrennan/imaginAIry/ma... I integrated this new InstructPix2Pix model into imaginAIry (python library) so it's easy to use for python developers.

The project is called QueryStorm. It uses Roslyn to offer C# (and VB.NET) support in Excel, as an alternative to VBA. I've posted about it before, but a lot has changed since then so figured I'd share an update. The current version includes a host of new features, namely a C# debugger, support for NuGet packages, and the ability to publish Excel extensions to an "AppStore" (which is essentially a NuGet repository). The AppStore can be used by anyone with the (free) runtime component. Another great addition is the community license, which is a free license for individuals and small companies…

Hey HN! Some more info: I’m an NHS doctor and the founder of Pi-A (https://www.pi-a.io) which developed Lungy (https://www.lungy.app). Lungy is an app (iOS only for now) that responds to breathing in real-time and was designed to make breathing exercises more engaging and beneficial to do. It hopefully has many aspects of interest to the HN community – real-time fluid, cloth and soft body sims running on the phone’s GPU. My background is as a junior surgical trainee and I started building Lungy in 2020 during the first COVID lockdown in London. During COVID, there were…
