Hire Your AI

Set up an AI that works while you sleep — literally

What it does

I was on a flight with airplane mode on. When I landed, my AI had built two landing pages, set up payments, and published content. This guide shows you the exact system I built — memory files, job description template, tool setup, and a week-by-week implementation plan. No coding required. What's inside: how to give your AI persistent memory, a real job description, and tool access so it can act autonomously. Works with Claude, ChatGPT, or any major model.

    Computer Agents – Agents that work while you sleepMar 2026 · computer-agents.com · ▲7

Hey HN, Most AI “agents” I’ve tried are basically chatbots with amnesia — they forget everything the moment you close the tab and can’t do anything unless you’re sitting there watching them. I wanted real AI coworkers that just… work. So I built Computer Agents (aiOS). Every agent you create gets its own isolated computer in the cloud — complete with persistent memory, a real file system, code execution environment (with automatic dependency management), and the ability to run scheduled or webhook-triggered tasks 24/7. You give it a goal (“research this market and email me a report…

  • I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.

  • Hey HN, Henry from Cactus here! We previously released Cactus Needle, a 14MB agentic LLM for tool call, device use, and structured extraction for phones, wearables, smart homes, small robots and microcontrollers. We got really great feedback here, and have now incorporated the suggestions to release Needle 2. The whole model is a single 14MB binary that runs a full session in 28MB of RAM; 45m parameters at 2bit compression. Needle hits 500 tokens/sec decode speed on a Raspberry Pi 5, sits between 400-1,500 tokens/sec on VR devices like Meta Quest 3S and Apple Vision Pro, and ranges…
