HomeKeeper is a single-file home maintenance and appliance tracker built around one idea: most home upkeep fails not from lack of effort, but from lack of memory. Set a recurring task once — HVAC filters, gutters, smoke detectors, anything — and a visual progress timeline tracks where it stands automatically, flagging it the moment it's due or overdue. Track appliances alongside it with warranty expiration status, so nothing catches you off guard. No account, no app, no subscription.

I made OwnTime to balance between competing priorities in my life. The idea is based on two main influences: the concept of "roles" from "The 5 Choices" (2015), and my repeated failure to effectively implement time blocking due to the necessary flexibility in my role.
