Huybit
Finally, a habit tracker that actually shows the chain.
What it does
Every habit tracker talks about "don't break the chain." None of them actually show you one. Huybit does — a real visual chain that grows bit by bit. Miss a day and it breaks. Build it back. Beautifully crafted for an app you'll open every day. Dark mode, smooth haptics, 3.5 MB. Private by default — no accounts, no tracking, your data never leaves your device. 48 achievements, heatmaps, flexible goals, iCloud sync, CSV export. Free with full Pro access for a limited time.

Hello. I was looking for a simple and clean habit tracker. I went through a few apps but felt they were missing something. I also had some time on my hands, so decided to make my own and share it in case anyone else likes it. Some of the supported features: Streaks based, track and beat your longest streaks Fully useable offline Freezes (similar to Duolingo's streak freezes) Visual map for tracking consistency Pause the app when you need a break or will be away For anyone curious about the tech stack: - React for frontend - Dexie cloud for storage and syncing - Vercel for hosting Link:…

I have used a lot of habit-tracking apps and most of them are filled with features that are not useful to me, sometimes UI is a mess etc. I wanted to build an app that was simple and useful. I wasn't sure about GPT ability but wanted to give it a try. There was a lot of trial and error, especially in figuring out the logic of the streak counter, which took a lot of time. I have spent some time polishing the UI as well. Although not a perfect app, I think I have a good tracker. I am planning to add more features and would love to know your thoughts and feedback. Thanks

Heya HN, I started journaling about a year ago and recently landed in my perfect setup, a simple sentence to remember each day, combined with a flexible habit tracker. Over the holidays I turned this approach into a free expo app that I want to share. Basically, you get: - One sentence per day, enough to remember each day. - Flexible habit tracking (still working on finding the best UX here) - No backend, no tracking, all in device (just sentry for errors) - Clean, minimal interface - Export your data - Stats to track your progress I built this primarily for my own use, but I'd love to hear…
