In plain words
Hypergraph is a data structure library that generates directed hypergraphs. Released in 2021, it provides tools for developers working with complex graph structures where edges can connect multiple vertices simultaneously. The library is available on GitHub and is designed for users who need to work with or visualize hypergraph data structures in their projects.

From the sources
Hypergraph is a data structure library written in Rust to generate directed hypergraphs.
Hypergraph is a data structure library to generate directed hypergraphs . A hypergraph is a generalization of a graph in which a hyperedge can join any number of vertices. This library aims at providing the necessary methods for modeling complex, multiway (non-pairwise) relational data found in complex networks. One of the main advantages of using a hypergraph model over a graph one is to provide a more flexible and natural framework to represent entities and their relationships (e.g. Alice uses some social network, shares some data to Bob, who shares it to Carol, etc). Available on both Hypergraph and PersistentHypergraph via the HypergraphQueryfrom github.com

HelixDB – Open-source vector-graph database for AI applications (Rust)2025 · github.com · ▲237Hey HN, we want to share HelixDB (https://github.com/HelixDB/helix-db/), a project a college friend and I are working on. It’s a new database that natively intertwines graph and vector types, without sacrificing performance. It’s written in Rust and our initial focus is on supporting RAG. Here’s a video runthrough: https://screen.studio/share/szgQu3yq. Why a hybrid? Vector databases are useful for similarity queries, while graph databases are useful for relationship queries. Each stores data in a way that’s best for its main type of query (e.g.…

Talanoa▲343Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…

Hey all My name is Sindre, and I am the CTO of Scrimba (YC S20). For the last 7 years, I have written all my web apps in a full-stack programming language called Imba. It compiles to JavaScript and its main goal is to make web developers more productive. I just launched a major overhaul of Imba, so I wanted to share it here on HN, in case anyone are interested in learning more about it. It is very opinionated, so some of you might not like it, but I would love to hear anyones feedback regardless. Constructive criticism appreciated! The backstory: Imba initially started in 2012 as an effort…

Hello HN, Over the last year we've been building ente[1], a privacy-friendly, easy-to-use alternative to Google Photos. We've so far built Android[2][3], iOS[4], web[5] apps that encrypt your files and back them up in the background. You can access these across your devices, and share them with other ente users, end-to-end encrypted. You can also use our electron app[6] to maintain a local copy of your backed up files. We've built a fault-tolerant data replication layer that replicates your data to two different storage providers in the EU. We will be providing additional replicas as an…
