I made a fake MRR generator

Wanna impress your audience but don’t have enough money for a lambo? Fake it till you make it with a phony MRR dashboard! This might just look like I'm taking the piss, but I see this as an artistic statement about the latest trend of posting fake/embellished marketing content

I made a fake MRR generator launched on April 10, 2024 with 13 votes, #1,030 of 4,347 launches that month and more than 75% of that year's launches. The site was still online in September 2026, 2 years on.

In plain words

I Made a Fake MRR Generator is a tool that creates fictional monthly recurring revenue dashboards. Designed as an artistic commentary on misleading marketing practices in the entrepreneurship space, it generates fake revenue displays that users can share. The tool is intended for those who want to critique or highlight the prevalence of embellished financial claims commonly seen on social media and marketing platforms.

Hi HN, I created a (realistic) fake tweet generator to make my mum believe I'm successful until I get there for real haha. Now I can proudly (not) show her Elon endorsed my SaaS! It's 100% free to use and I tried to make it as realistic as possible while being easy to use. There are already existing similar tools but I could not find one that automatically pre-fills data from a twitter username and that handles business accounts (square picture/gold badge/company picture) so I built it. I would love to hear your feedback or suggestions!
