I made a tool to export TikTok comments
Hey HN! I'm Jack, the maker of ExportTok. I built this tool because I spent hours manually copy-pasting TikTok comments for market research and wanted an easier way. With ExportTok, you can quickly export all comments from any TikTok video to CSV or Excel for analysis. You do need to sign up to use it, but you don't need a TikTok account or credentials. The data includes usernames, timestamps, and engagement metrics. So far, users have exported over 500,000 comments. Would love feedback: 1. What other data fields would be helpful? 2. Any privacy concerns? 3. Suggestions for use cases or…

In plain words
ExportTok is a tool that extracts comments from TikTok videos and exports them to CSV or Excel format for analysis. Designed for market researchers and social media analysts, it allows users to download comments along with usernames, timestamps, and engagement metrics without requiring TikTok login credentials. Users simply paste a video link and select their preferred file format and data options. The tool offers 2,000 free comments per user and eliminates manual copy-pasting of feedback for conversation analysis and research purposes.

SocialKitOct 2025 · socialkit.dev · ▲92Hi HN, I’ve been working on a side project called SocialKit, a simple API for scraping structured data from public social media posts (YouTube, Shorts, more coming soon). It's designed for dev, no-code users, and marketers who want to extract things like summaries, transcripts, details, and more from YouTube. I sold two previous side projects (LectureKit and CaptureKit), and this is my latest attempt at building something useful and focused. I would love to get any feedback :) Happy to answer any questions, and thanks for checking it out! Jonathan
download all your [Liked] videos from TikTok for safekeeping2022 · chrome.google.com · ▲45This is a chrome extension I made. You visit tiktok.com and sign in, the extension retrieves MP4s and puts them in a folder. My goal: the TikTok algorithm has helped me find wonderful things. I consider the list of my [Likes] to be a treasure collection, and want to make sure I don't lose them. If you don't have time to try, here's a video walking through all the features: https://youtu.be/BoHOdRxHgP0 Is it free: Yes. (I did test a payment modal once, but users gave me 1-star ratings for it, so I removed it)
