I noticed I've spent too much time reading Hacker News

I noticed I was getting side tracked reading Hacker News, checking back, reading articles, comments, etc. It felt like my productivity was being hampered so I created a simple web app to receive the most popular stories in a daily email. http://dailyhn.com

I noticed I've spent too much time reading Hacker News launched on July 17, 2011 with 14 votes, #46 of 194 launches that month and more than 75% of that year's launches.

In plain words

Daily HN is a web app that delivers the most popular Hacker News stories to users via email once a day. It helps people stay informed about top tech and startup news without spending excessive time browsing the site directly. The service is designed for those who find themselves repeatedly checking Hacker News throughout the day and want a more controlled, less distracting way to catch up on important stories.

Hi HN. I was surprised that there wasn't a feature here that lets you go back in time to the front page of Hacker News on a random day...so I made one. http://randomhackernews.com is a simple HTML page that navigates you to the front page of HN on a random day between today and February 19, 2007 (the oldest date I could find with content). I made this for myself, but figured others may find some interest in it.

I made a little website with a server that collects only HN submissions with > 500 upvotes chronologically. https://hn.moritz.pm/ It's quite simple because I wanted to learn from the project. But I think it's useful, to get a summary of what was important over the last days. The UI is almost identical to the HN frontpage, you can click on the comments to view the thread and on the username to see the profile. The rest of the cards takes you to the submitted URL.
