IdeaProofNow

Timestamp your work before you share it.

What it does

IdeaProofNow creates a verifiable timestamp record for your creative work. Your file stays with you. We only record its SHA-256 fingerprint, the time, and a certificate ID that can be verified later.

Timestamp your work and verify it independently. Free SHA-256 file hash verification, digital timestamps, and proof-of-existence certificates — hashing on your device, originals stay with you.

We help you keep a timestamp "fingerprint" of your precious original work. Today, generative tools can produce near-identical images in minutes, and social platforms have diluted how rare originality feels. Some things only become easier when you prepare one step ahead, so you stay calmer when trouble actually arrives. When infringement happens, you often still have the source file; what you need is to show its basic metadata was not altered, especially its time. We use current technology to certify that this file already existed at a moment in time. This record states that the SHA-256 digest below existed at the stated time. The digest was computed on the holder’s device. IdeaProofNow does…from ideaproofnow.com

  • I made OwnTime to balance between competing priorities in my life. The idea is based on two main influences: the concept of "roles" from "The 5 Choices" (2015), and my repeated failure to effectively implement time blocking due to the necessary flexibility in my role. The app allows you to define time budgets, which are not much more than a few mutually exclusive countdown timers. The UX is essentially that of a chess clock for an arbitrary number of players with configurable time. The whole point of the app is to kick you out of the running role/priority when its time is up.
