R2D3 is an experiment in expressing statistical thinking with interactive design. Find us at @r2d3us . Stephanie is currently at Meta. Prior to that, she was at Netflix and at Stitch Fix . She's got a MS in Statistics from Stanford. Tony is a product designer at Augment Code , where he works on UX for coding agents. Prior to Augment Code, Tony worked at a whole bunch of AI start-ups, as well as at Facebook AI back when it was still Facebook. He holds an MFA in Interaction Design at the School of Visual Arts in New York City, where he tried to change congress with a fancy infographicfrom r2d3.us

  Many JS libraries exist to build graphs on the web (Vega, chartJS, Plotly...). They allow to make charts quickly. But you lose flexibility: you're limited by the options they offer. I just created a gallery with hundreds of graphs made with d3.js and React. - Examples are split by graph types - They all come with explanation and code sandboxes - Gradual complexity to ease the learning curve It took me ages to create this project!   I’ve been building an interactive 3D + 2D visualization of GPT-2. It displays real activations and attention scores extracted from GPT-2 Small (124M) during a forward pass. The goal is to make it easier to learn how LLMs work by showing what is happening inside the model. The 3D part is built with Three.js, and the 2D part is built with plain HTML/CSS/JS.
