What it does
Most EU AI Act guides still say high-risk rules apply on 2 August 2026. The Digital Omnibus changed that, and most content hasn't caught up. IsHighRiskAI is a free 7-stage classifier built on the current text: scope, prohibitions, Annex III, the Article 6(3) derogation, GPAI, Article 50 transparency, and your role as provider or deployer. Every determination is anchored to the article it rests on. Your classification is free on screen, no signup. Triage, not legal advice.
Free seven-stage EU AI Act triage against the post-Digital Omnibus text. Get your risk tier, the article it rests on and your deadline in about a minute.
A seven-stage triage against the current, post-Digital Omnibus text. Scope, prohibitions, Annex III, the Article 6(3) derogation, GPAI, Article 50 and your role. Free, and every determination is anchored to the article it rests on. Triage, not legal advice. Machine-based, operates with some autonomy, and infers from input how to generate outputs (predictions, content, recommendations, decisions). Deterministic rule-based software generally does not. “Deadlines delayed” is a dangerous half-truth. The Digital Omnibus split one date into two very different categories, and the first half has already landed. If you stood down your AI Act programme on that headline, you are exposed now, not…from ishighriskai.com

We’ve built an AI risk assessment tool designed specifically for GenAI/LLM applications. It's still early, but we’d love your feedback. Here’s what it does: 1. it performs comprehensive AI risk assessments by analyzing your codebase against different AI regulation/framework or even internal policies. It identifies potential issues and suggests fixes directly through one click PRs. 2. the first framework the platform supports is OWASP Top 10 for LLM Applications 2025, upcoming framework will be ISO 42001 as well as custom policy documents. 3. we're a small, early stage team, so the…

EuConform – Offline-first EU AI Act compliance tool (open source)Jan 2026 · github.com · ▲71I built this as a personal open-source project to explore how EU AI Act requirements can be translated into concrete, inspectable technical checks. The core idea is local-first compliance: – risk classification (Articles 5–15, incl. prohibited use cases) – bias evaluation using CrowS-Pairs – automatic Annex IV–oriented PDF reports – no cloud services or external APIs (browser-based + Ollama) I’m especially interested in feedback on whether this kind of technical framing of AI regulation makes sense in real-world projects.

EU legislation (which affects UK and US companies in many cases) requires being able to truly reconstruct agentic events. I've worked in a number of regulated industries off & on for years, and recently hit this gap. We already had strong observability, but if someone asked me to prove exactly what happened for a specific AI decision X months ago (and demonstrate that the log trail had not been altered), I could not. The EU AI Act has already entered force, and its Article 12 kicks-in in August this year, requiring automatic event recording and six-month retention for high-risk systems,…

I might be the only SRE on Earth with his own bowling center. It's a more in-depth gig than you'd think. My family and I bought an abandoned 8-lane bowling center in the rural mid-west. In our small town there weren't many recreation options for families. You've heard of a food desert? This is an R&R desert. It had been abandoned for a good reason. The roof leaks, the electrical system was constantly surging, and my 70-year-old bowling equipment (still) doesn't work perfectly. The system that keeps your score is particularly interesting to me. It's the thing you watch during your game, but…

Over the past few months, our team has been building more and more slidedecks using web frontend technologies with coding harnesses like Claude Code, but a common complaint is to make even small edits we need to edit the code either manually or via the harness. To avoid this loop, I ended up creating Bento, a single HTML file with everything you need in a slide tool including animations and shared editing. There's no install or cloud login, everything works offline. The default deck is around 560 KB and it doesn't need to fetch anything once you got it. Open it in a browser and then you can…

A few days ago I found myself trying out GLM 5.2 and was really positively impressed. The capabilities and security I was getting from this LLM are similar to those I've gotten from models like Claude or GPT, and this really surprised me. But then I thought, "I wonder how it would work on a normal computer like mine," and above all, "I wonder if it would work without going into OOM on a computer like mine." So I started working with the help of agents to test this possibility. I started converting the model to int4, understanding MTP usage, and if possible implementing DSA for long context.…

OpenSEO▲928Hello! For the last 2 months, I've been building OpenSEO. It's a user friendly UI wrapping the DataForSEO API which has high quality SEO data for keywords, backlinks, AI SEO and competitor research. Instead of paying $100+ per month, you buy DataForSEO credits and pay only for usage. The coolest thing about the project so far has been hearing about what people are building on top of it. People are using coding agents to quickly integrate with Google Search Console, Google Ads and building their own AI SEO and reporting features. Many were already building their own custom solutions around…
