Hi, Prastik & Gaurab here. We’re building Jod(https://jodmcp.com), a project that grew out of our own frustration with current troubleshooting and observability workflows. Jod lets you chat with your logs to debug issues, generate on-demand dashboards, analyze service health, and monitor with ease, all from a single chat window. Before Jod, we spent countless hours digging through CloudWatch and deployment logs, juggling 10+ dashboards just to trace one issue. It often took as much time as writing the actual code. During incidents, things got even worse, too much noise, endless context switching, and a lot of repetitive work. We figured we couldn’t be the only ones feeling that pain, so we decided to build something that could make the process a little easier. Right now, Jod connects to CloudWatch through an MCP server, which streams responses to the backend over SSE, and the client displays everything in a conversational interface. You can ask questions about your logs, request visualizations with the @Graph annotation, or dig deeper into errors and trends. We’ve actually debugged and fixed multiple issues in Jod’s own codebase using Jod itself. That said, it’s still early days, and there’s a lot we want to improve. On our short-term roadmap, we plan to: - Add support for metrics and traces, not just logs. - Expand to other providers like Azure and GCP. - Release a standalone MCP server so developers can plug it into their own AI clients. Hi HN, 8 months ago, I posted “Ask HN: I built it nobody came, what now?” and got a ton of (not very optimistic) feedback [1]. I took away 3 things: 1. The message wasn’t properly targeted 2. The onboarding experience was terrible. 3. Someone posted some advice to find leads which actually worked, yeah! So here we are. 8 months later. I unfortunately didn’t have a lot of time to put in the tool itself. But I improved the website, improved the onboarding, and got a paying customer who seems to really like the software. So here it is in its current form. Let me know what you think would make…

LLM observability is an absolute must-have for anyone running something in prod (or prod-like). While all the observability startups are great, you're essentially sending all your OpenAI usage history - prompts, generations, chats - to a random third party. So this script deploys a basic proxy in your Azure account, catches all incoming OpenAI requests, stores logs in your own resource group, and comes with visualizations premade (charts, timelines, chat history, cost estimation, etc).
