I built KeepDates after realizing I kept missing important dates that were already saved in my contacts. Birthdays are automatically handle by iOS, but everything else was just ignored. I always dutifully curated my contacts, adding different dates to each (friends' kids' birthdays, anniversaries, significant events), but always seemed to forget about them as the day approached.
