What it does

Keycast is live, replayable blogging. Everything you type is immediately visible to viewers. Typos, Freudian slips, everything else — if you type it, they'll see it. After casting, you'll be able to replay that cast just as if it were happening live. Just share a link and it'll all be there, ready to be lived or relived at any moment.

  I wanted to share the status with the Owncast project. If Wordpress is your self-hosted version of Medium, then this is your self-hosted version of Twitch. I've been little by little chipping away at building an easy to use and super useful live streaming server for individuals.   I recently needed to make a text appear on a website and I wanted to get this real human feeling that computers don't have. I only found the TypeIt lib but it was not free and I didn't want to add a dependency for such a simple case. Human replay allows to copy paste a few lines of JS to make a text appear exactly how you typed it.
