That's the world we envision with Joseon – the first legally recognized cyber nation-state. Why Joseon? As developers, we understand the challenges and roadblocks that traditional regulations pose to technological innovation. Joseon's mission is to eliminate these barriers by providing a non-burdensome regulatory environment that fosters collaboration, experimentation, and growth in cyberspace. Joseon's Journey - Reaffirmed as a cyber nation-state with conditional recognition from Antigua in February 2022, later upgraded to full recognition in 2023. - Developed a unique approach to citizenship through "Denizenship," or personal interest corporations. A "Denizen" is a special type of corporation that is limited to a single shareholder, cannot be transferred and is, also, limited to a single instantiation per person. This allows the physical person to separate the actions from that of the Denizen. The physical person acts as an agent of the Denizen -- and the Denizen is both incorporated under and subject to Joseon law, not the restrictive laws of the physical person. Also, Denizenship is free! - Issued a national fiat currency, Mun, which is a foreign currency in other jurisdictions while still inheriting the benefits of blockchain technology.
