LoginLlama

Hey HN I recently rebuilt my microsaas Loginllama. It uses the same stack but I've made the API much much better and it's now a product I'm happy to promote. As with most developers I hide behind building instead of marketing. As this a developer focused product, this is me marketing! It's a product built in anger for myself when I had to implement a similar system for a number of clients. I released it as I assume that other people had the same problem. There are SDK's available for Nodejs, PHP and Python. Auth0 and Wordpress integrations are coming soon. Let me know what you think and if…

LoginLlama launched on July 27, 2023 with 95 votes, #719 of 4,347 launches that month and more than 75% of that year's launches. The site was still online in September 2026, 3 years on.

What it does

LoginLlama is an AI-powered API that vigilantly guards against suspicious logins. Enhance user trust, protect data, and maintain peace of mind with our advanced, real-time login analysis. Integrate in less than 10 minutes.

LoginLlama scores every login for risk in real time — detect suspicious logins, credential stuffing, and account takeovers with one API call.

LoginLlama scores every login 0–10 for account takeover, credential stuffing, and bot traffic — so your app can block, step up to MFA, or allow. One API call. No ML team required. Integrate in one prompt, or drop in the SDK. Free for 1,000 checks a month. One call, before you finalize the login. Sub-500ms. Fails open. Most breaches start with a valid password in the wrong hands. Credential stuffing is automated, cheap, and relentless. Logs and 2FA tell you after . LoginLlama tells you at the moment of login , while you can still do something about it. Pick a scenario and watch the risk score and codes change — the same logic your app gets back from one API call. Runs a real request against…from loginllama.app

    A Better Log Service2025 · txtlog.net · ▲153

Hello everyone, there are many log services available and this is my attempt at a better one. Most online logging tools feature convoluted UIs, arbitrary mandatory fields, questionable AI/insights, complex pricing, etc. I hope my application fixes most of these issues. It also has some nice features, such as automatic Geo IP checks and public dashboards. Although I've created lots of software, this is my first open source application (MIT license), the tutorial for selfhosting is hopefully sufficient! Most of my development career has been with C#, NodeJS and PHP. For this project I've…

Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…

I saw this [0] pretty cool thread by user revskill, and wanted a quicker way to search through it, but also to keep them all in one place so I can read them at my leisure whenever I get time. Right now is like 60 lines of Ruby using Nokogiri, but I will certainly look into it further down the line and improve the list. There's a cronjob checking the thread every 12 hours but I will eventually shut that down and it will become static after that. There are some really awesome blogs in there. I really recommend going through the list, it made my day. [0] "Could you share your personal blog…
