Lucidcast transcribes episodes on-device, generates AI summaries, responds to voice commands, and seamlessly switches between streaming and offline files. Fully local processing, no accounts, offline-first. What mainstream podcast apps don't bother with — and what you actually want if you listen to podcasts every day. On-device Whisper transcribes the episode locally on your phone. Gemini turns it into a structured summary. Runs offline, no data sent to third parties. "Podcast play / stop / skip / save" — no need to touch the phone. Works on the lock screen and in the car via Bluetooth.
